Multi-Connnect Membership Terms & Conditions.

Last updated: 13/09/2026

1. About Multi-Connect

These terms apply to membership of Multi-Connect and attendance at Multi-Connect events.

Multi-Connect is operated by:

Business name: Multiko Ltd
Email: info@multi-connect.co.uk
Telephone: 0151 245 6026

In these terms, “Multi-Connect”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business named above. “Member”, “you” and “your” refer to the business or individual applying for membership.

2. Business membership

Multi-Connect membership is intended for businesses, business owners, employees and representatives joining for purposes connected with their trade, profession or business.

By applying, you confirm that you have authority to enter into the membership agreement on behalf of the named business.

Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights that apply where a person legally qualifies as a consumer.

3. Membership approval

All membership applications are subject to approval by the Multi-Connect team.

We may consider:

  • The suitability of the business for the community
  • Any potential conflicts with existing members
  • The applicant’s professional reputation
  • Whether the applicant’s conduct and values align with Multi-Connect
  • The available capacity within the relevant business sector
  • Previous conduct at Multi-Connect events
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee membership.

If we approve your application, we will send you a secure online link to set up payment. If you would prefer to pay by invoice, we may arrange advance payment for 3, 6 or 12 months.

Your paid membership begins when we confirm approval and receive the required payment, unless we agree another start date in writing.

4. Membership options

4.1 Community Membership

Community Membership is free and becomes available after a person has attended Multi-Connect as a visitor.

Community Membership currently includes:

  • One free visit during each rolling 12-week period
  • A listing in the Multi-Connect business directory
  • Community news and updates
  • Invitations to selected events and opportunities

Attendance remains subject to advance booking, availability and event capacity.

Community Membership does not include weekly networking, priority matching, requested introductions or the promotional benefits provided to Growth Members.

4.2 Connect Membership

Connect Membership costs £75 for a 12-week membership period.

Connect Membership currently includes:

  • Up to four Multi-Connect visits during the 12-week period
  • One business-related social media feature during the membership period
  • A listing in the Multi-Connect business directory
  • Access to the Multi-Connect WhatsApp group
  • Community news, updates and opportunities

The £75 payment covers the complete 12-week membership period.

Unused visits cannot be transferred to another membership period or exchanged for cash, credit or another service.

Connect Membership ends after 12 weeks unless the member purchases another membership period. It will not renew automatically unless this is clearly agreed when payment is arranged.

4.3 Growth Membership

Growth Membership costs:

  • £69 per month for the first three monthly payments
  • £100 per month from the fourth monthly payment onwards

The increase to £100 per month applies automatically from the fourth payment. The introductory price does not continue beyond the first three monthly payments.

Growth Membership currently includes:

  • Weekly access to Multi-Connect networking
  • One business seat that may be shared between authorised members of staff
  • Priority matching for facilitated one-to-one meetings
  • The ability to request introductions to particular people, businesses or sectors
  • Ongoing connection support outside the weekly event
  • Access to the Multi-Connect WhatsApp group
  • A listing in the Multi-Connect business directory
  • One business-related social media feature approximately every four weeks
  • Opportunities to deliver a five-minute business presentation
  • Interview and promotional opportunities
  • An article about the business in a Multi-Connect newsletter
  • Access to applicable member training and development opportunities
  • Priority booking where event capacity is limited

Promotional opportunities will be scheduled by the Multi-Connect team and cannot always be provided on a particular date requested by the member.

Growth Membership operates as a monthly rolling membership unless an alternative prepaid term has been agreed in writing.

5. Business seats and representatives

Growth Membership provides one membership seat for the registered business.

The business may nominate different employees or representatives to attend, provided that:

  • Only one representative uses the seat at each event unless additional places have been booked
  • Every representative follows these terms
  • The representative genuinely represents the registered member business
  • Multi-Connect receives the attendee’s details before the applicable booking deadline

The member business remains responsible for the conduct of every person attending under its membership.

Membership cannot be transferred or resold to another business without our written approval.

6. Payments

Membership fees must be paid in accordance with the payment schedule selected during registration.

Online monthly payments will be collected automatically using the payment method provided by the member.

Members who choose payment by invoice may pay for an agreed period of 3, 6 or 12 months in advance. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, an invoice-based membership will end at the conclusion of the prepaid period and will not renew automatically.

You must ensure that your payment and billing information remains accurate.

If a payment fails or becomes overdue, we may:

  • Ask you to provide an alternative payment method
  • Suspend event access and membership benefits
  • Cancel the membership if payment remains outstanding

You remain responsible for fees due before the effective cancellation date.

7. Cancellation

Community Membership
A Community Member may ask us to remove their membership and directory listing at any time.

Connect Membership
Connect Membership is purchased for a fixed 12-week period.

A member may cancel their future attendance, but payments are not refundable simply because the member does not use all available visits.

Growth Membership
Growth Membership may be cancelled by giving at least 30 days’ written notice by email to info@multi-connect.co.uk

Membership fees will continue to be due during the notice period. Membership benefits will remain available until the effective cancellation date, subject to these terms.

Advance payments for 3, 6 or 12 months are non-refundable after the membership has started, except where we agree otherwise or where the law requires a refund.

Cancellation does not remove any outstanding payment obligations that arose before the effective cancellation date.

8. Event bookings and attendance

All events are subject to advance booking and venue capacity.

Members should only book places they reasonably expect to use and should notify us promptly if they can no longer attend.

Membership does not guarantee a place at every event. Growth Members will normally receive priority booking, but places remain subject to capacity, booking deadlines and operational requirements.

If a representative attends without booking, we may refuse entry where the event has reached capacity.

We may change an event’s date, time, location, format or speaker were reasonably necessary.

9. Matching and introductions

Multi-Connect aims to provide relevant connections based on the information available to us.

Members are responsible for keeping their business information, target sectors and requested introductions accurate and current.

Priority matching does not guarantee:

  • A particular match at every event
  • An introduction to a specific person or business
  • A referral
  • New work or sales
  • Any particular financial result

Introductions are made in good faith. Members must carry out their own checks before entering into any business relationship, agreement or transaction.

An introduction does not represent an endorsement, guarantee or recommendation by Multi-Connect.

10. Member standards

Multi-Connect aims to build a trusted community of reputable businesses.

Members and their representatives must conduct themselves professionally both inside and outside Multi-Connect events.

We expect members to demonstrate:

Integrity
Members must act honestly, communicate transparently and conduct their business ethically.

Professionalism
Members must provide services responsibly, communicate appropriately and take reasonable care of their professional reputation.

Respect
Members must treat clients, employees, suppliers, visitors and other members fairly and respectfully.

Accountability
Members must take responsibility for their commitments and address complaints or problems professionally.

Generosity
Members should be willing to share suitable knowledge, contacts and opportunities where doing so may provide genuine value.

Members must not:

  • Behave in a threatening, discriminatory, abusive or harassing manner
  • Apply unreasonable pressure to purchase products or services
  • Misrepresent their experience, qualifications, services or connections
  • Misuse another member’s personal or business information
  • Send persistent or inappropriate marketing communications
  • Engage in conduct likely to damage Multi-Connect or its community
  • Suggest that Multi-Connect endorses or guarantees their services

11. Complaints and disputes between members

Members remain independently responsible for their businesses, services, advice and commercial arrangements.

Multi-Connect is not a party to contracts or disputes between members.

If we receive a complaint about a member, we may:

  • Request information from the people involved
  • Issue advice or a warning
  • Temporarily suspend membership
  • Restrict access to events or communication groups
  • Terminate membership where appropriate

We are not required to determine legal liability between members.

12. Suspension and termination by Multi-Connect

We may suspend or terminate membership if:

  • Membership fees remain unpaid
  • A member supplies false or misleading information
  • A member seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms
  • A member’s conduct creates a risk to other people or businesses
  • A member’s conduct may reasonably damage the reputation of Multi-Connect
  • A conflict of interest makes continued membership inappropriate
  • Continuing the membership is no longer reasonably practical

Where appropriate, we will explain our concerns and allow the member an opportunity to respond.

However, we may suspend access immediately where we reasonably believe this is necessary to protect members, visitors, staff, the venue or the reputation of Multi-Connect.

If we terminate membership because of a serious breach, fees already paid will not normally be refunded.

If we terminate membership for reasons unrelated to a breach by the member, we will normally provide a proportionate refund for any unused prepaid membership period.

13. WhatsApp group

Access to the Multi-Connect WhatsApp group is an optional membership benefit.

Members who join the group acknowledge that their profile name, photograph and telephone number may be visible to other group participants, depending on their personal WhatsApp settings.

The WhatsApp group must be used appropriately. Members must not:

  • Add group participants to marketing lists without permission
  • Send excessive or irrelevant promotional messages
  • Share confidential or personal information without authority
  • Copy, distribute or misuse contact details
  • Post unlawful, offensive or inappropriate content

We may remove a participant from the group without ending their overall membership.

14. Business directory

Members may provide information for inclusion in the Multi-Connect directory.

The member confirms that:

  • The information supplied is accurate
  • They have permission to provide and publish the information
  • The content does not infringe another person’s rights
  • They will notify us when information needs updating

Members may ask us to update or remove their directory listing.

A directory listing does not represent an endorsement or guarantee by Multi-Connect.

15. Social media, interviews and promotional content

Where a membership includes promotional support, the member gives Multi-Connect permission to use approved business information, logos, photographs, video clips and quotations for agreed promotional purposes.

Members remain responsible for ensuring that materials they supply can legally be used and do not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.

We may edit supplied content for length, clarity, formatting and brand consistency, but we will not intentionally change its meaning.

Promotional opportunities are subject to our content schedule, available resources and editorial approval.

16. Photography and recording at events

We may take photographs or recordings at Multi-Connect events for marketing, reporting and promotional purposes.

We will provide an appropriate opportunity for attendees to tell us if they do not wish to be included in identifiable photographs or recordings.

Where specific consent is legally required, we will request it separately.

17. Confidentiality

Members may receive commercially sensitive or personal information through conversations, introductions and membership activities.

Members must use reasonable judgement and must not disclose information that has clearly been shared in confidence.

Multi-Connect cannot guarantee that information voluntarily shared with another member will remain confidential. Members should use a separate confidentiality agreement where appropriate.

18. Intellectual property

The Multi-Connect name, branding, materials, event formats, forms, training resources and other content remain the property of Multi-Connect or the relevant rights holder.

Membership does not grant permission to copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit these materials without written approval.

Members may identify themselves as a Multi-Connect member while their membership remains active, but they must not claim to represent Multi-Connect or imply an endorsement.

19. Data protection

We will process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

Our Privacy Policy is available at here.

Membership information may be used to:

  • Administer membership and payments
  • Manage event bookings
  • Provide matching and introduction services
  • Maintain the member directory
  • Communicate relevant news and opportunities
  • Deliver agreed promotional benefits
  • Protect the safety and integrity of the community

Members are responsible for handling any personal information they receive through Multi-Connect lawfully and securely.

20. Changes to membership benefits and prices

We may make reasonable changes to events, benefits or the way membership is delivered.

We will not remove a substantial paid benefit without providing reasonable notice or a suitable alternative where practical.

We may change membership prices by giving affected members at least 30 days’ written notice. A price change will not affect a prepaid fixed term until that term ends.

The stated increase in Growth Membership from £69 to £100 after the first three monthly payments forms part of the agreed price and is not treated as a later price change.

21. Event cancellation and circumstances beyond our control

We may cancel, postpone, relocate or change the format of an event because of venue issues, illness, safety concerns, transport disruption, severe weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where practical, we will offer an alternative event, date or reasonable substitute benefit.

We will not be responsible for travel costs, lost business, lost profits or other indirect losses caused by an event change or cancellation.

22. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Multi-Connect is not responsible for:

  • The services, products, statements or conduct of members
  • Decisions made following an introduction
  • Contracts or disputes between members
  • A failure to receive a particular introduction, referral or commercial result
  • Indirect or consequential business losses

Subject to liabilities that cannot legally be limited, our total liability arising from a paid membership will not exceed the membership fees paid by the affected member during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

23. Third-party services

Multi-Connect may use third-party services for payments, event bookings, communications, website hosting and other membership functions.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party platforms where the issue is outside our reasonable control.

24. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the membership, our operations or applicable law.

We will notify paid members of any material change that affects their membership.

The latest version will be published on our website with the date it was updated.

25. General terms

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.

A delay in enforcing these terms does not waive our right to enforce them later.

The membership agreement is between Multi-Connect and the approved member business. No other person has the right to enforce it unless the law provides otherwise.

26. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
